This temple pond, nestled inside a forest, will make you want to sit here the whole day. The journey to the pond, through a small forest, is an amazing experience. The path, surrounded by greenery and mud trails, will leave you with unforgettable memories. Because of its beauty, this pond recently went viral on social media, and now many people visit from far away to see the magical view of the pond and the temple. The crystal-clear water of the pond is so tempting, it makes you want to take a swim.
Near the pond is the main temple, which is dedicated to God Shiva. The Shivalinga here is Swayambhoo or self-manifested. One unique thing about this temple is that devotees cannot enter the inner part of the temple; devotees can only pray from outside. Also, only morning Pujas are performed here. It’s believed that in the evening, devas perform pujas here, which is why no evening pujas are held here.
Temple Pond is open for visitors only between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. The temple complex is inside a 10-acre dense forest. Besides the Shiva Bhagawan temple, there’s also a Naga temple here.
