Laos leased land to Chinese so they could build a new city . The Chinese Special Economic Zone was commenced in 2007 and now massive development is taking place . This video i stay in the famous Kapok Star Hotel Casino , as the only westerner staying in the hotel with a whole bunch of chinese gamblers . I tour the surroundings of the hotel , the pool , dining , bars , outdoor patio , magnificent foyer , my superb room and much more . Tour china town with me , still mostly chinese restaurants seemingly incredible considering i am located in Laos .
The Laos government has a 99 year lease in place to the chinese investors over the land which this new city sits .
