Our trip through Sri Lanka March 24 - April 22. A beautiful holiday trip through the country. Starting on the west coast up to Kalpitya, visiting all the way up north (Jaffna). Continuing our trip by motorbike down the east coast (Nilavelli). After that, we dropped the motorbike and went by foot/tricycle/train through the mid jungle of the country. Visiting hidden Meemure village, hiking up Adam's Peak and then going south by train to Ella. Our trip then continued to the old Kataramagana close to Yala park. The final week we spent chilling at the beaches of Tangalla, Hirikitya, Matara and Fort Galle. On our way back to Fort Galle the Sri Lanka bombings happened, and we stopped filming the end of our trip. Luckily we missed the terrorism and got away safely in a small town close to Colombo.

Are you in doubt going to Sri Lanka? Don't! It's beautiful. But don't forget to go north, which is less touristy and more pristine.
