I so nearly skipped this place and I’m so glad I didn’t. Just 30 minutes from Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Cave Temple is carved into a massive rock and packed with over 150 ancient Buddha statues. The caves feel eerie and spiritual. But this is easily one of my most memorable spots of my Sri Lanka trip. Save this for your trip to Sri Lanka!
