- Cash is king. Budget how much cash you will need for the duration you’re staying on the island and get it all out on the mainland. This is because most card transactions have a 5% surcharge and to get cash out on the island it’s an 8-10% surcharge.

- if you want to be close to the main piers, shops and restaurants, stay in Koh Touch Village or Long set Beach.

- long set beach is a lot nicer then Koh Touch beach but you can walk to Long Set from Koh Touch Village

- earplugs are essential. Even if you’re staying at a quiet hotel, this can be a party island and it’s likely you will still hear music coming from near by bars and beach clubs.

- this island is a jungle, don’t expect complete luxury. A lot of accomodation is open air and expect geckos, mosquitos, monkeys and bugs.

- stock up on the essentials like bug spray, suncream, medications on the mainland etc before arriving because they’re lot more expensive on the island.

- prepare to have the best time ever and enjoy how untouched this island is ????️
