In this Vietnam Travel Vlog, I spend a few days exploring Hoi An, Vietnam! Even though it was rainy for a lot of my time in Hoi An, I still had an amazing time! It's definitely one of my favorite places in Vietnam!
I started in Hoi An Ancient Town which is the most adorable place ever! There's a tourist office in Hoi An where you can purchase a ticket to visit 5 of the city's 25 tourist attractions. I purchased the ticket next to the old Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An before walking around to the 5 locations I chose: Quang Trieu Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Old House, the Museum of Folk Culture, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and the Quan Cong Temple. While some of the locations didn't have much information, they were all gorgeous buildings full of a lot of history that I'm so happy I visited in Hoi An! After exploring those locations, I went to the local market in Hoi An. It was a really large market with different sections for food, souvenirs, meat, vegetables, everything! From there I went to Quan Cao Lau Ba Le to try the famous Hoi An Cao Lau! This restaurant is one of the best ones in Hoi An and they even had tons of vegetarian options! The noodles were the best. After lunch I mailed some postcards before heading to 92 Station to see the view from their rooftop bar. Unfortunately the rooftop wasn't open due to all the rain, but there was still a nice view from one floor below the roof. I took a nice little boat ride around Hoi An which unfortunately there was no sunset.. but it was still really fun! Then I walked past the Hoi An night market to 7 Bridges Hoi An Craft Beer Taproom. The original 7 Bridges brewery is in Da Nang, Vietnam, however they have multiple locations throughout the country. They had dozens of craft beers with many of them winning awards!
The next day I took a taxi from Hoi An Old Town to the Hoi An beach which is only about 15 minutes away! I ate some delicious banh mi and spent a rainy day on the beach before getting a lot of work done in my homestay. The following day the weather was nice! I was able to do one of the famous round coconut boat tours which was SO much fun!!! After that I walked up the beach in Hoi An from Cua Dai Beach to An Bang Beach which was definitely the most busy beach in the area. Overall I absolutely LOVE Hoi An!!!
